Pre recruitment checks:
All candidate must have the following before adding them to our recruitment system
– Valid Passport.
– University Degree(s) & Teaching Qualification(s)
- University attendance letter & Degree transcript
– Current and up to date CV.
– Basic Medical Declaration.
– References.
– DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) or Police Clearance
– Marriage Certificate (if applicable).
Documents are made available to the client upon appointment.

How do I register?
Simply upload your CV and cover letter, one of our consultants will review your application, register you on our system and contact you for an informal chat.
What do I need to register?
We will need to see evidence of the below documents and certification before we can find you a job.
– Up to date CV.
– A valid Passport
– University Degree(s) & Teaching Qualification(s) certifications
– Basic Medical Declaration.
– References.
– DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
– Marriage Certificate (if applicable).
– No Objection Certificate (NOC) (if applicable).
What happens if I don’t have all the necessary documents?
Documents will need to be verified before being able to seek work.
I have a criminal police check?
Please inform your consultant during the registration process of your current police check status. Our consultants will be able to best advise you further.
ECT’s.
Newly qualified/Early Career teachers are considered and welcomed to apply for most of the advertised positions. Many of our schools also provide the ECT 2 year program, our consultants will be able to guide you to the most suitable vacancies.
I don’t have IB training can I still register?
Unless the employer specifically states this requirement you my apply.
I’m not western trained can I still register?
In most cases our clients require for our teachers to be Western trained, fluent speakers of English and fully qualified. Our consultant will be able to best advise you.
Do you have to be able to speak other languages?
No, but a lot of teachers tend to learn a new language through conversation over the duration of their stay. Some schools provide language lessons as part of the package.
When should I apply?
International schools recruitment happens all year round. Schools will recruit from as early as November/December for the following September. Most of the recruiting is done from January through to March. The sooner you are registered with Preceptor the better chance you have in get a job.
